“Insecticles needs homes too,” says Bob. So we made them one.

One bright Spring morning, Bob and I sat in the garden and made an insect house. This was largely because the old one collapsed due to an unfortunate incident with a gymball, someone bouncing on it in the garden and an innocent insect house (albeit a rather wobbly one) getting a bit in the way. I’m not saying who was the bouncer on the gymball, but I am blaming Bob.

Anyway, here’s what we used and what we did. We made it a week ago and nothing has fallen off, collapsed or broken yet, so I call that tested. Pidgy, our resident pigeon, has inspected it and sat on it, and if it has survived that, we think that is good enough.
